Google AI Project Astra: Google organized its mega event Google I/O 2024 on May 14, the main focus of which was AI. Google CEO Sundar Pichai started the event by talking about Gemini AI. The company made big announcements during this event and also launched many projects. One of these is Project Astra, which explains everything seen in the camera. Google also showed a demo of this during its event.
What is Project Astra?
Project Astra is a new project of the company, whose focus is to create a future AI assistant. It is being said that this project is somewhat like OpenAI’s GPT4o, which will explain everything around you just by looking at your phone’s camera. Google DeepMind has also shared a video regarding this on its social media handle X.
We’re sharing Project Astra: our new project focused on building a future AI assistant that can be truly helpful in everyday life.

Female user asked these questions
The video starts with a question about an audio generating device. In this, a female user is seen saying to Gemini, when you see something with sound, let me know. After this Gemini says that I have seen a speaker, which is used for sound.
The female user then asks about the parts of the speaker, about which Gemini immediately tells. The surprising thing comes to light when an area is shown on the camera and the user asks which area it is. Gemini immediately responds to this and tells the name of the exact area.
